We are witnessing continued digitalization of societal and industrial processes, whichbring large amounts of complex and heterogeneous multimodal data. How to effectivelyanalyze and manage such data to help decision-making in different domains is a coreresearch problem in Decision Intelligence. To address this, DaSE studies the nextgeneration of artificial intelligence techniques with a focus on generality, interpretability,robustness, and efficiency, along with their interdisciplinary applications in variousscientific and engineering fields (i.e., A for Science and Al for Engineering). DaSE hasstrong expertise in time series analytics, spatio-temporal data analytics, graph dataanalytics, transfer learning, anomaly detection, AutoML, and edge intelligence.demonstrated by publishing high-quality (e.g., CCF A and CORE A”) research papersand obtaining prestigious national talent grants. DaSE has collaborated with industrialpartners to work on intelligent transportation, AOps, Prognostic Health Management.thermal safety ofpower electronic chips, and autoscaling.
