As an essential infrastructure of the next-generation Internet, blockchain is a new type otdatabase software that integrates various technologies such as distributed networksencryption, and smart contracts. The essence of blockchain lies in the reconstruction ofsocial trust through data and mathematics, and it serves as a paradigm of usinginnovative information technology to address socio-economic challenges. The teamfocuses on using the concept of databases to guide the research, development, andpromotion ofkey technologies in the blockchain system. Adhering to the developmentpath of"needs drive innovation" , the team follows an integrated deployment approachthat encompasses"application scenarios, technological innovation, and industrialdevelopment", focusing on new application fields such as smart supply chains, inteligenteducation, and other novel domains. By achieving original technological breakthroughsin the core technology of blockchain, the team promotes the development ofrelatedstrategic emerging industries.
The team is currently building the Engineering Research Center of Blockchain DataManagement, Ministry of Education, and the National Blockchain Innovation ApplicationPilot ("Blockchain + Education" field). Moreover, the team is implementing the KeySpecial Project on Blockchain under the National Key Research and DevelopmentProgram. The team has made signifcant achievements in the scalability of consortiumblockchain promotion. The project "Key Technologies and Applications of Eficient DataStorage and Transaction Execution upon Consortium Blockchain Systems", led by theteam, was awarded the first prize for technical invention awarded by the Ministry ofEducation in 2022.
